IIT JEE 2012 OMR Sheet for practice

Students appearing for IIT JEE (Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) have to solve two question papers, Paper-I and paper-II. Both these papers are OMR based sheets, but the answer patterns for these papers are different. The IIT entrance exams use complex OMR bubble and score patterns as per their requirements. The three forms of patterns used in IIT entrance exams include MCQ based questions, integer based questions and matrix based questions.

OMR answer sheet format for IIT 2012

Both paper-I and paper-II of the OMR sheet of IIT 2012 begin with the space provided for information of the students. On the left are the blocks for writing and filling roll no. and test ID. On the right, you will find blocks for writing name, batch, mobile number and test date. Below, there are instructions to be followed for filling the OMR answer sheets. Next to it is the space provided for the signatures of the candidate and invigilator.

The first paper contains of 60 questions in total, which are divided into three sections. Among these, 45 are MCQ based questions. These questions have four options, the answers of which can be one or two. The students have to mark the right answers as per the instructions provided in the question paper. The remaining 15 questions are integer type questions for numerical answers. Each question has 10 rows from 1-0.

The second paper of the 2012 IIT examination also has 60 questions divided into three sections. However, the pattern is simple as there are only MCQ based questions that have four options each (ABCD).
