IIT JEE 2011 OMR Sheets for Practice

The OMR answer sheet format of IIT 2011 for their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) was designed with Addmen's OMR software. IIT's answer paper patterns have several complex requirements which are easily fulfilled by this software. The OMR software has the flexibility of designing and reading different types of OMR patterns and assign complex marking schemes too. Here you will find the IIT JEE 2011 OMR sheet for practice.

The IIT JEE 2011 is divided into two papers: paper-I and paper-II. Each paper has three sections with different types of answer bubble patterns. Let us take a look at the patterns found in these answer sheets of the IIT entrance examinations.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

The multiple choice questions pattern has four options for every question. Here, the student has to fill the correct bubble to answer the question. In most cases, the students have to mark just one bubble as the answer. However, in the IIT examinations, students may come across questions that have two right answers and they have to mark both to get marks for that question. This question pattern is found in both paper-I and paper-II of the 2011 IIT OMR sheet.

Matrix type questions: A matrix is a group of bubbles arranged in rows as answers for the same question. Sometimes, a question is divided into several sections. In this situation, you will find the answer blocks in 4-5 rows with multiple options. This type of question pattern is used when the students have to answer questions from a passage comprehension. It is also used for questions for which you have to match the columns. This type of question pattern is found in Paper-II of the OMR answer sheet format of IIT 2011.

Integer type questions: This type of question is used when the answer is in the numerical form. Here, a list of numbers in arranged in rows for every question. If the answer is a single digit number, there will be 10 choices of answers from 0-9. On the other hand, if the answer is a double digit number, there would be two columns with 10 rows, providing the candidate with 99 possible answers. This type of question pattern is available in both paper-I and paper-II.
